This piece was done for the D&D art test over at Wizards of the Coast.
This is absolutely stunning! The airy atmosphere, the gesture, the pose, everything is spot on and yet effortless. I really like your style. The strokes are still visible yet not overstated. I tend to tighten my work up too much, even in my concept art. Wish I could loosen up and still have some artistry like this.
So unique! I love the little details that set it apart from the cliche medieval knight in armor. Mask, beard, horn, feather tassels - all beautifully rendered.
so creative and I really love this design
he rocks the beard
Really warm colors, brings the best in your design
The colors and forms are so clear, yet effortless looking. And the cultural design is also damn clear, too. Really excellent.
I love this so much! Beautiful colors

Mongol + Nordic influences?
Well it's actually a culture created by D&D and it's in their reference for the art test they have gong on. But ya I was seeing a good match up of Nordic, Eskimo, Eastern European, and Mongolian. Quite a good handful of interesting references.
love the outfit, dude looks awesome!
I really love how the beard stands out of his helmet, great design!
I really really like this design and your colour choice is solid!
Love the helmet design!
